Like everyone else with a Twitter account, I’ve spent my morning playing with Microsoft’s AI art generator. It’s game day so I tried “Pizza and Roll Tide.” You get to add a style or medium and I’m a big enough fan of Christina Rossetti’s poetry that my admiration spills over to her brother’s paintings, so I added “Pre-Raphaelite.”

Letters apparently baffle the algorithm. That looks like the bright oranges, greens, and muted beige of a sushi order squashed under that helmet to the left of the salad, Tupperware of milk, and gladius on the parquet floor. I can say as a professional that the sausage (I assume that’s what those five bits are supposed to be) distribution is way off. “Dlanda” is pretty good though. Sounds like a Bears player from the sixties.
