We are a dive. We say that proudly.

The bar to entrance for a dive is admittedly low, but to do it right, to chase casual insouciance down a rabbit hole of benign neglect is not as easy as you might think. Slouching towards anything takes a lot of behind the scenes work or you just fall down.

Ever since ‘63 or ’65, and we aren’t sure which and it’s just not an argument you want to get drawn into, we’ve been. That simple. We have been.

Our customers are our lifeblood, and I hate myself for not coming up with something other than “lifeblood,” but the cliché works. We get to be us because you come in and we get to make a living out of being us. It’s a remarkable thing. We want you to have a good time, tell your friends, celebrate, or if things take a turn, commiserate.
